The Chinese Ya Pear, also known as the Asian Pear, is a fruit variety with strong adaptability and good yield, mainly produced in Hebei Province. Ya pear is with fine, crisp and juicy flesh, thin skin and small core, very few sclereid, moderate sweet and sour taste. Ya pear is rich in vitamin C and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, and iron. The sugar content is as high as 12% or more, and it can be stored and kept fresh for 5-6 months.
